Morzine is at the centre of the 12 resorts in Les Portes du Soleil, located only a 1hr15 drive from Geneva Airport, in an extensive area spanning over France and Switzerland, providing snow sports enthusiasts with over 600km of pistes, and endless terrain in which to play. Morzine, in the Haute Savoie region, is nestled between Les Gets and Avoriaz, at the heart of Les Portes du Soleil making it simple and easy to access the other resorts in Les Portes du Soleil. Morzine has plenty of gentle slopes, including an allocated beginners’ area on Le Pléney, with fantastic views over the stunning Mont Blanc range it is the perfect place to introduce you to skiing or snowboarding. These slopes expand into Les Gets with access to Chamossière, ‘The Bowl’ and Mont Chéry provide more challenging slopes for intermediate or expert skiers and snowboarders. From the Super Morzine side, you can easily head up to Avoriaz where you will find great snow at the higher altitude of 2400m above sea level. Here you will find the infamous black run, ‘The Swiss Wall’, where you are greeted with an impressive view of Les Dents du Midi


Avoriaz is the highest resort in Les Portes du Soleil ski area, located next to Morzine and right on the French/Swiss border. You will find a wide choice of runs in Avoriaz, from gentle greens to plenty of challenging red and black runs. 'The Wall' is one of the most famous runs in the world and is not for the faint hearted, a steep bowl, which often turns in to a mogul field, will challenge even the strongest skiers.

les gets

Les Gets is part of Les Portes du Soleil ski area, located next to Morzine, it has a wide selection of green, blue and red runs, making it ideal for beginners and advanced skiers alike. The transfer from Geneve airport is only an hour, so it's great place to go for a short break! Let Gets is a picture perfect, traditional French alpine village and is great for families. Supreme Ski & Snowboard School offer private ski lessons in Les Gets.

Although based in Morzine, our ski and snowboard instructors at Supreme Ski and Snowboard School are flexible and able to deliver lessons across the entire Les Portes du Soleil to enable you to get the most out of your ski lessons and winter holiday in the mountains.
