Meribel is located in the Three Valleys ski area, in the Tarentaise Valley, Savoie, Rhone-Alpes region of France. Developed by a Scotsman in the 1930s, it has excellent links to Courchevel and Val Thorens. The town centre is situated at around 1400 metres above sea level and hosted ski and ice hockey events for the 1992 Winter Olympics. Meribel caters for a wide range of skiers, expert skiers and snowboarders looking for a challenge can tackle the ‘Bosses’ bumps run and beginners can learn safely in the dedicated beginners Altiport ski area. Supreme Ski & Snowboard School offer private ski lessons in Meribel and can meet in the centre of the village or at your hotel.
