1991
Where it all began
Supreme was started in Courchevel in 1991 by Sue and Kenny Dixon and Alan Hole, all of whom had run a successful ski school in Scotland up to that point. Supreme was an immediate success, the founding team are all passionate, highly experienced and qualified instructors, so they were able to deliver brilliant lessons to cater to a growing English speaking customer base.

As the first British owned ski school in Courchevel and one of the first in France, Sue and Kenny helped pave the way for the other British and International schools that have opened up in the years since.
2001
The team grew...
By 2001, the team had grown to around 35 ski instructors. The team were renowned for being close, made up of friends and family, they worked hard to spread their passion for skiing amongst new skiers. Sue and Kenny nutured a 'family feel' to the way they ran the business and managed the team, focussing on taking care of their instructors, who in turn then took care of their customers on the slopes - this ethos sits are the core of Supreme today.

Throughout Sue and Kenny’s reign at the helm, they had many ventures, including a successful instructor training program - training many of the top instructors who run successful ski schools across the Alps. They also ran a ski rental and clothing business!
2014
Changing of the guard
Towards the end of 2014 Aaron Tipping, Nick Robinson and Olly Robinson acquired the ski school from Sue and Kenny, with the aim of expanding on the fantastic school that had been built up over the previous 23 years. Continuing Supreme’s reputation for delivering great ski lessons to holiday makers and loyal long-term clients, the new directors made it their goal to inject a breath of fresh air into Supreme Ski School.

Drawing on the experience of the existing instructor team helped the new owners build on Supreme's success, by really focussing on delivering a personable, professional service to customers. Some of the enchancements included; reducing the maximum number of skiers in both children's and adults group lessons; ensuring customers are matched to an instructor that really suits their needs and delivering an amazing service to any customers enquiring for lessons.
2019
Resort expansion and the future
After expanding to Val d'Isere and Morzine over 2 years ago, the time is right to speed up the expansion - Supreme start new dedicated teams in Les Arcs, Val Thorens, Meribel and Megeve. As the team grows, we’ve stuck to our ethos of only hiring fun, personable, fully qualified instructors, who speak excellent English and are willing to go the extra mile to delight our customers.

As we open in to new ski resorts we have also added new products and services. We run pre-season instructor training in Stubai, Austria, helping the next generation of instructors to pass their qualifications. We have also partnered with The Ski Club of Great Britain to run performance courses for their members.
2021
Resorts re-open after COVID-19
The first winter after the global pandemic saw us continue our expansion in to more of Europe’s top ski resorts - opening a new ski school in Verbier, Switzerland. We continued to expand our teams across our existing resorts, to better serve more customers.

In Stubai, Austria, we added a new product offering - our Adult Performance Camps, aimed at adult skiers who want to try giant slalom for the first time.
2023
We merge with Maison Sport
At the end of 2022 we merged with Maison Sport, the leading platform for booking independent ski and snowboard instructors across The Alps. We have continued to run very much independently but have joined forces to offer better group ski lesson coverage and provide more options to our customers and partners.

The Supreme team grew dramatically this winter, almost doubling in size, as we also opened in new resorts - Zermatt and Chamonix. Having taught more customers than ever, we’re planning on continued expansion in to more resorts for the 23/24 winter, whilst ensuring our high level of personalised customer service remains.
